DAI was a proud supporter of the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) through a recent employee-run food drive to collect monetary and food item donations from CAFB's Most Wanted Items List. CAFB is the largest non-profit hunger and nutrition education resource and food bank in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, distributing 20 million pounds of food each year to more than 700 member feeding programs throughout the metropolitan area. DAI has also recently supported other charitable organizations, including providing a monetary contribution to Doctors Without Borders back in January 2010 to support the Haitian disaster relief effort and organizing an internal holiday toy drive each year to support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, including most recently in December 2009.
