DAI
WILL ASSIST DHS WITH ACQUISITION WORKFORCE TRAINING

ALEXANDRIA, Va.
DAI, as part of the Interactive Technologies Group (ITG) team, was today awarded a contract to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with the design and development of its Acquisition Courseware for both instructor-led and web-based training. The work will deliver courses of instruction and materials required for acquisition personnel to meet training qualifications and achieve certifications for their respective assignments.

DAI, under its Communications and Learning Solutions Practice area, will play a significant role in this effort, assisting the DHS Acquisition Workforce (AWF) training office by creating updated training courses while also converting existing instructor-led courses into an online format. DAI will also work to expand and enhance existing courseware by developing new content and tools for assessment and testing analysis.

"This is an important project that will reach a large AWF audience from a wide range of fields and functional areas," said DAI Executive Vice President, Paula Antonovich. "DAI’s blended learning approaches and expertise in instructional systems design will be huge assets here, as will our e-learning solutions."
